  Description

  I live in a hilly area in Piedmont on the edge of Monferrato. I love waking up to the sound of birds chirping, enjoying the sun when the rest of the world is shrouded in fog, gazing at the mountains and hills with a single glance. I love living here, despite all the challenges of my choice; I also love the less beautiful things, I love the slow pace of time. I have a ceramics studio where I can experiment, and I grow irises in the open field, which I sell at markets and through an e-commerce site. The house is large, as is the outdoor space; there's always something to do, but you can also relax reading or taking a walk. I live with my daughter, three dogs (outside the house), and four cats (inside).
  
  Vivo in una zona di collina in Piemonte ai confini del Monferrato. Adoro svegliarmi con il cinguettio degli uccelli, avere il sole quando tutto il resto del mondo è immerso nella nebbia, guardare le montagne e le colline con un unico colpo d'occhio. Amo vivere qui, con tutte le difficoltà della scelta fatta, amo anche le cose meno belle, amo la lentezza del tempo. Ho un laboratorio di ceramica dove sperimentare, coltivo iris in pieno campo che vendo ai mercati e tramite un e-commerce. La casa è grande e lo spazio esterno anche, c'è sempre qualcosa da fare, ma ci si può anche rilassare a leggere o fare una passeggiata.
  Con me vivono mia figlia, 3 cani (fuori casa)e 4 gatti (in casa).

  I have a circle of friends who work in various fields, from cooking to beekeeping, nursery gardening, and illustration. They're always available to talk and share their work. During the summer, there are many local activities (music, art, food, and discovery festivals), and groups organize walks, meetings, and more. I can share my skills in cooking, soil cultivation, horticulture, nursery gardening, and clay work. Any skills Workawayers would like to share are welcome.

  There's a lot of tasks to be done, including helping me cut/split/sort firewood for the winter, tending a small vegetable garden, sowing, planting, and tending it (depending on the season), weeding the iris plants, helping me with flower breeding, and reorganizing some spaces. I imagine sharing the management of this place, which doesn't have a set schedule. I've worked in the restaurant industry for years, and I can share my passion and knowledge for food, the land, and clay. I'm open to anything workawayers have to share.
  
  I lavori sono tanti, aiutarmi nel taglio/spaccare/sistemare legna per l'inverno. seguire un piccolo orto, seminando, piantando accudendolo (a seconda della stagione), pulire dalle erbacce le piante di iris, seguirmi nell'ibridazione dei fiori, riorganizzare alcuni spazi . Immagino una condivisione nella gestione di questo luogo che non ha una programmazione definita. Ho lavorato per anni nella ristorazione, posso trasmettere passione e saperi per il cibo, la terra, l'argilla, sono aperta a tutto ciò che i workawayer avranno da trasmettermi.

  Hébergement

  The accommodation is a private room with two single beds. Sheets and blankets are provided. I would generally like to host one person at a time. The room has a window and a small balcony shared with the room next door. The bathroom is shared with the rest of the family. There is a kitchen, and meals can be shared. We usually cook vegetarian meals, although we eat meat. I take care of the shopping, but guests are welcome to prepare their own meals if they prefer. It's nice to share meals, but not always necessary.
  
  La sistemazione è una camera privata con 2 letti singoli si forniscono lenzuola e coperte . tendenzialmente vorrei ospitare 1 persona alla volta. la camera ha una finestra e un piccolo balcone condiviso con la camera di fianco. Il bagno è unico e condiviso con il resto della famiglia. La cucina è una e i pasti possono essere condivisi. Normalmente cuciniamo vegetariano, pur mangiando carne, la spesa è gestita da me, ma l'ospite può gestirsi il suo cibo se preferisce. è bello condividere i pasti, ma non sempre necessario.

  La casa dista circa 3km dal paese e si può scendere a piedi o con l'auto se la si possiede. Io posso dare passaggi se devo fare commissioni. In paese passano bus di linea ed esiste un servizio di bus a chiamata, con i bus ci si può recare sia in stazione a pochi km dove ci sono treni per Torino o Milano. Tra le regole della casa c'è il fatto di non fumare in camera e in generale in casa, nessun problema per gli spazi esterni.
