Description
* We appreciate your interest in joining us. Please note we are a seasonal hostel and only open from May to September.
Our hostel provides accommodations to travelers from around the world creating a diverse community where positive social exchange and friendships develop. We enjoy helping travelers explore Alaska and it’s surrounding glaciers, mountains, and backcountry. We are in a central location in Anchorage and walking distance to cafes, restaurants, and night life. This position is ideal for people who both love the outdoors and love meeting travelers from around the world. We have a wood burning sauna, sensory deprivation float tank, and bicycles to explore the surrounding trails.
- Requirements:
-Work hours are 5 hours every day 3 to 4 days a week. This gives you plenty of time on your days off to explore Alaska with other travelers. Minimum wage will be offered for every hour worked.
- We provide a shared dorm room and breakfast.
- Tasks include cleaning of the hostel and dorm rooms, welcoming guests and helping them with questions.

We have both camping and a small dorm style cottage next to our hostel with 4 beds, It is a shared space - cozy and comfortable.

We are avid outdoor enthusiasts and spend our time hiking, paragliding, and rafting rivers. We are happy to show you around or take you with us on hikes. You will have time every week to explore different parts of Alaska. We are not a party hostel but we enjoy socializing with kind spirits who also love nature and a positive community atmosphere.

We have wireless internet throughout the hostel and a communal lounge downstairs. Our backyard also receives good WIFI with picnic tables.
