Description

Hi, I'm Chang, 32, originally from China. I've been living in Italy for 5 years, have lived in South America for 7 months. Moving to Norway in 2 years.
I’ve traveled to 55 countries and consider myself an curious, open-minded global citizen who adapts quickly to new things.

Cultural Background & Education:
-Languages: Native Mandarin, fluent English, intermediate Italian, and beginner Spanish. Now learning Norwegian. I am certified by the Confucius Institute to teach Chinese as a foreign language. With a background as a former book editor. I’ve translated Italian TV series subtitles, as well as two English books into Chinese for publication.
- I hold a B.S. in Chemistry from Beijing Institute of Technology and will soon get my Architecture degree at Politecnico di Milano. Did exchange at Universidad de Chile.

Experience:
- Workaway: Handcrafted traditional mud bricks in the Morocco; managed daily farm chores and assisted in cabin construction on a family farm in Tunisia; helped a family with daily housework in Slovenia.
- Archaeology & Heritage Restoration: Participated in archaeological excavations in Bulgaria and hands-on historic building conservation in Romania.

- Housework and cooking: I’m tidy, proactive, and very comfortable handling all kinds of household chores and family needs. I can make tasty, homemade meals—especially Chinese and world fusion dishes.
- Caring for the elderly, children, disabled and pets.
- Architecture-related works: design, building, restoration, and various types of manual labor.
- Handicraft & media marketing: I run a small online shop in China selling scented candles that I design and handcraft myself.
