Hi!
My name is Alessia and I am 24 years old. I grew up in a small village surrounded by mountains in the northeast of Italy. Throughout my time here, I have come to appreciate and respect nature, over the years my awareness of environmental issues has increased. It is in the open air that I can find my peace and serenity. I like to go hiking and spend time on the beach, sunsets and sunrises fill me with joy.
Currently I'm taking a gap year from my studies. After having worked for some months dealing with customers, I've just spent nearly two months in Finland partecipating in volunteering projects to organize activities and events for kids. Now I feel that I can travel further, leaving Europe for a prolonged period.
I'd love to push myself out of my comfort zone, seeking for new experience and opportunities. I'm easy-going, I love to be surrounded by open minded people with whom sharing stories, opinions and knowledge.
At the moment, I'm ready to travel to New Zealand with a friend of mine, after spending some weeks in South America.

I am willing to try new things and am open to many different things.
In the previous volunteering activity that I participated in, I planned and ran activities for kids, working in a team. Previously, I worked dealing with clients and being in contact with them. Gardening, DIY, cleaning, and cooking are all areas where I have general/good skills.
