  Description

  My name is Alba, and my work is mainly the Performing Arts, and the collection of living memory. For some years I have decided to live in the rural interior of Galicia, out of conviction and to continue discovering the information in my roots. In my life I am guided by principles found in permaculture, free culture and ecofeminism. And at the same time, I learn to live together and to be in this rich and diverse world. Here, the population is usually quite aged, and for almost anything I am obliged to take the car. I love being at home, and also sharing moments with my neighbors. The place where I live is impressive and a treasure to discover, you can look for it like this: Brués, Boborás, Ourense. Here you can find a corner where you can expand your creativity, and also an access to other projects that live in the countryside, which you can know or even where you could go to continue your journey.

  Mi nombre es Alba, y mi trabajo principalmente son las Artes Escénicas, y la recogida de memoria viva. Desde hace algunos años he decidido vivir en el rural interior de Galicia, por convicción y por seguir descubriendo la información en mis raíces. En mi vida me guío por principios que se encuentran en la permacultura, en la cultura libre y el ecofeminismo. Y al mismo tiempo, aprendo a convivir y a estar en este mundo rico y diverso. Aquí, la población es bastante envejecida por lo general, y para casi cualquier cosa me veo en la obligación de coger el coche. Adoro estar en mi casa, y también compartir momentos con mis vecinas. El lugar donde vivo es impresionante y un tesoro por descubrir, puedes buscarlo así: Brués, Boborás, Ourense. Aquí podrás encontrar un rincón donde expandir tu creatividad, y también un acceso a otros proyectos que viven en el rural, que podrás conocer o incluso a donde podrías ir para continuar tu periplo.

  Currently and in the coming months of this 2023, the necessary works in my place are: orchard and garden with fruit trees, elaboration of products, restoration of an interior space (walls and decoration), painting and decoration of exterior spaces, help or collaboration with tasks of older neighbors or maintenance of public spaces in the village.

  Actualmente y en los próximos meses de este 2023, los trabajos necesarios en mi lugar son: huerta y jardín con frutales, elaboración de productos, restauración de un espacio interior (paredes y decoración), pintura y decoración de espacios exteriores, ayuda o colaboración con tareas de vecinas mayores o mantenimiento de espacios de uso público en el pueblo.

  Single room inside the house, with window and natural light, heating, wardrobe, own lamp, sockets, towels, bed linen, slippers, washing machine... In the house also resides a cat, who is my companion.

  Habitación individual dentro de casa, con ventana y luz natural, calefacción, armario, lámpara propia, enchufes, toallas, ropa de cama, pantuflas, lavadora... En la casa también reside una gata, que es mi compañera.

  Puedes alojarte en este pueblo para conocer la naturaleza, las montañas, el patrimonio histórico de diferentes edades humanas, ir al río a meditar o tomar un baño. Aquí tenemos una pequeña tienda abierta todos los días. Puedes tomar un autobús en dos momentos diferentes del día para ir a O Carballiño (8 km), o para ir a Ourense (37 km) o para ir a Pontevedra (58 km). Si pudieras conseguir una bicicleta, tendrías más libertad. Eventualmente, podría llevarte en coche, o podrías venir conmigo si tengo trabajo. (Yo trabajo en teatro, marionetas o cuentacuentos, y enseño artes escénicas a algunos grupos durante la semana, fuera de mi pueblo).

  You can stay in this village to know the nature, mountains, historical patrimony from different human ages, go to the river to meditate or to take a bath. Here we have a little shop all days open. You could take a bus in two different moments of the day to go to O Carballiño (8 km), or to go to Ourense (37 km) or to go to Pontevedra (58 km). If you could get a bicycle, you can get more freedom. Eventually I could bring you by car, or you could come with me if I have work. (I play theater, puppets or storyteller, and I teach scenic arts to some groups during the week, out of my village).
