Description

Hello! My name is Kristin, I am dedicated to community and environmental sustainability. Sustainable outdoor tourism is something especially close to my heart, as I believe that more people who connect with the outdoors will respect it.
I am an ambassador for Women In The Wild, an international organization that creates opportunities for women to get outdoors safely, together.
I am also a member and partner of Leave No Trace.
In the summer, I own/ operate an outdoors business at the local beach! Kayak, paddleboard and more rentals with lots of community activities.

I love to host activities and events, from a movie night to a group hike. Bringing people together and creating community is very important to me!

I look forward to travelling more and learning about local cultures and hopefully contributing positively to the area.
My next destination is Iceland! It really feels like the values regarding the outdoors and conservation are very in line with my personal values. I am also very interested in the biodiversity that the land offers. I am excited to meet the locals, adventurers, bugs and everything in between!

I am fluent in English and quite strong in Canadian French. I know some Spanish but would love to learn more! I am also happy to help teach English. I have experience helping people from around the world learn and practice English, my Business class was 54 people, 50 international students!

I am very personable, I like to connect with people and try to help them however I can.
I’m very organized and can keep up with multiple tasks and serve multiple people at once.
I have experience in many different things, I have graduated Business Administration: Management and currently enrolled in Non-Profit Leadership.
I have formal training in outdoor leadership, first aid, beach lifeguarding, mental health, crisis intervention, tax preparation, and much more!

I work well by myself and in a team. I can get along with just about anyone, I love to learn from others and share my knowledge too!
