Description
I have a background in science (physics) and I have recently obtained a PhD in Statistics from the university of Edinburgh. I am currently doing a 'gap year' and am traveling in Asia.
I love learning about nature and its intricacies and interacting with the living world in all of its varieties. I also have a deep curiosity about world cultures, traditions and their practices. I enjoy outdoor work and manual labor. I love to cook and try new flavors.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?
I’m a hands-on, reliable helper with experience in physically demanding outdoor and practical work. I’ve picked grapes during harvest season in Crete, helped construct and maintain forest trails in Idaho (steady team-based outdoor work, doing things properly and safely), and I’ve also assisted with house-building activities. I’m comfortable with early starts, repetitive tasks, and working steadily for several hours, and I’m careful about safety, cleanliness, and leaving a tidy work area. On top of that, I really enjoy cooking and can help in the kitchen with prep, cooking simple meals, cleaning-as-I-go, and keeping things organized. I’m also into fermentation, so I’m happy to help with food prep/preservation projects (and I’m attentive to hygiene and consistency). I try to be easy to host: clear communication, punctual, respectful in shared spaces, and dependable day after day.
