Quelles sont vos compétences ?
Agriculture: Together we have worked on different farms through the WWOOF platform. Previously we have spent six months on a goat dairy farm in beautiful Washington, one month on a vegetable farm in lovely Oregon, and one month on a vegetable farm in gorgeous Costa Rica. Kendall has additionally spent a full season working full-time on an organic vegetable farm and volunteering part-time at an apiary in Colorado.
Fine Art: Alex received his BFA in Fine Art with a focus in painting. He often works with oil paint and has exhibited paintings in various spaces in the United States and Ecuador. During his studies, he enjoyed working with videography and photography and would like to improve these skills by learning from other artists.
Communications & Design: Alex has spent four years working professionally with communications, social media management, and design. He is currently the Communications Manager for an environmental justice nonprofit. He may be able to offer some assistance with platforms such as Canva or WordPress.
Culinary: We both like to cook colorful, satisfying, and nourishing meals, but Kendall is an especially talented cook who loves planning multi-course group meals for family and friends. We enjoy cooking food from all over the world—especially Mexican, Italian, Indian, Thai, and Chinese dishes.
Spanish Language: Kendall majored in Spanish during her undergraduate studies, and living in Ecuador for two years as Peace Corps Volunteers really enhanced both of our Spanish language abilities. Alex completed Peace Corps service in 2020 with an Intermediate High (B1) level of Spanish and Kendall with Advanced High (C1).
French Language: We both studied the French language for two years at university. Kendall also spent the summer of 2023 studying in Grenoble, France. We will definitely make mistakes, but we would love to practice French with any of our wonderful hosts!

Alex and I are very happy, easygoing, kind people who love exchanging ideas and sharing experiences with all kinds of people. We are particularly interested in foreign languages, world cultures, all religions and spiritualities, spending time in nature, and nurturing all kinds of life. We are also happy to do amateur tarot readings or astrological birth chart readings for anyone who is interested! :)
