We are traveling around Canada until early September 2026, and then we are hoping to head to Asia!

Description

Hello, we are a small family traveling the world and trying new things! We love exploring new places and taking on new challenges. I value learning about and experiencing other cultures, as well as building relationships, and hope that, through travel-schooling, I can pass these on to my child.

I get fulfillment from being of service to others; I am a helper and a fixer. I see a problem, and I want to fix it. My child (12) is kind, creative, and full of energy. He always wants to cook or create something, and his goal this year is to catch his first fish! I like to do different kinds of art, especially out of "trash", found, or recycled materials. I want to learn to play any instrument this year (I already have a ukulele). We enjoy playing outside, video games, trying new foods, singing off-key, and going on adventures during our time off.

I have dreamed about travel-schooling for as long as I can remember, and I am so excited to make it a reality. I hope to share our journey with others online to find or create an international community of travel-schoolers.

We can be pretty silly and try not to take ourselves too seriously. I value honesty, equality, and personal-growth. We believe that all people are worthy of equal rights and the necessities they need to live.
