Hi! My name is Juliette and I was born and raised in Montreal, Canada. My first language is French but I am fluent in English. I have a bachelor’s degree in French literature and this year (2023-2024), I will be writing my master’s thesis in the same field in France.

During my year in Europe, I would love to travel to multiple regions as I am a very curious person. Being the child of two artists, a painter and a photographer, I particularly enjoy visual arts. My family also owns a country house in the forest across a lake in Quebec so I feel peaceful in nature and when surrounded by animals, even though I was born in the city.

I consider myself an adaptable and hardworking person who always likes to be helpful. Being quite a perfectionist, I am confident in my ability to achieve any task you’ll give me.

Given my field of study, I am interested in all language exchanges and enjoy teaching as well as learning.

Regarding manual labour, I have experience in painting, staining wood houses, making cement, as well as gardening. I also have a lot of babysitting experience, enjoy taking care of children, and am accustomed to providing animal care (dogs, cats, horses, rabbits, etc.).

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

- Writing and tutoring: given my field of studies, I am interested in all languages exchanges and enjoy teaching as well as learning. I also do contracts as a research assistant at the university.

- Translation (English to French).

- Customer service (coffeshop, curated vintage shop, groceries…).

- Social media management for small businesses (taking pictures to put online, managing mailboxes, etc.)
