Hi, my name is Johanna, I'm 34 years old and from Copenhagen, Denmark.

I’m studying to be a gardener. I'm very interested in learning as much as I can about regenerative farming, soil heath, permaculture, market gardening, sustainability and ecology. My dream is to one day have my own farm in Denmark.

I used to be a historian and was working in an archive for some years, but was drawn to working outside and with something that felt more meaningful.

During 2025 I've spent three months on a regenerative farm Koanga Institute in New Zealand growing food plants for heritage seeds and six months in Sweden at a biodynamic gardening school Skillebyholm, where I was growing vegetables and fruit for the schools farm shop and restaurant.

I enjoy meeting new people, working together to produce something and learn new skills from each other along the way.

Together with my friend from gardening school Karla, I'm looking for a farm to go and work at in february 2026.

Karla is 26 years old and also a garden student. She worked six months at a permaculture farm in France called Ferme du bec Hellouin and after that she worked three months at an organic farm in Denmark Kiselgården where she was growing herbs and edible flowers in green house for restaurants. Other than that she previously studied to be a carpenter, so she also have some skills in building.

We are adventurous people who like to go to new places, to learn new things and meet new people. We like to cook and enjoy great meals together with our hosts. We'd like to explore the area we are in and go for hikes, swimming, visit local markets and lots of other things.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I am helpful, happy, fun and proactive. I like to work outside all day in all types of weather.

I'm a gardener student and know gardening work: Weeding, sowing, transplanting, harvesting, watering, soil care, making compost, making and adding natural fertiliser, binding up plants, removing side shoots, lawn mowing, and much more.

I like cooking and have experience cooking for many people. In 2024 I worked as a cook on a sailing boat in the Arctic in Svalbard and Norway, where I prepared three daily meals for about twenty four guests.

I'm curious about learning new recipes and cooking from different countries cuisines.

I like hiking and foraging mushrooms, herbs and berries.

I also have an education as a yoga teacher.
