Something about me and my motivation:
Growing up I was lucky to see a lot of the world, not as a tourist but as someone who stayed in different countries for a couple of years. I learned so much on language, people and cultures in my early age and this experience helped me to embrace and see the world from a different angle. Due to my dads work I moved 6 times by the age of 18 and passed multiple borders in Asia.
After school I went "back" to Germany (or Europe), the country my parents are from and I thought I would settle down. But after 12 years in Germany I decided to go my own unusual path.
I quit my job, bought a MiniVan and I am now traveling through Europe with my sweet four-legged companion. "Hope" is turning 11 this summer, loves people and all animals, loves cuddles and food. She is a Labrador Retriever and very laid-back and chilled. She showed me what really matters in life. Being a more introvert person I enjoy quite times by myself and my dog, doing some hikes, going for a run etc. But I'm also a team player and love to work with other. Therefore I can learn something about everyones cultures etc.

My motivation to join workaway:
Although I'm an introvert person I like to push myself out of my comfort zone. I think being a part of this community can give my such an awesome experience where I can learn new skills and practice my English, get to know the culture etc. I want to learn new skills, be a part of maybe sustainable projects, working on farms, also love to work in a kitchen and learn some dishes and how everything is working, etc.


Living with a dog, you realize how short life is. Hope is now 11, still "active" but older of course. I am still eager to go on adventures with her. They are now different than we are used to, but we can still see the world together.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I love animals, I have experience in training dogs, behavior etc and I'm happy to learn more on dogs with special behavior (training, care, cleaning kennels etc). I can also help with child care, playing soccer, playing hide and seek etc.
I can teach you some German, tell you something about my time in Indonesia, Japan and China.

I do not have any craft backround but I love to help you everywhere I can. I am very athletic and have no problem to lift heavy stuff and get dirty.
I want to learn new skills, also love to work in a kitchen, be a part of maybe sustainable projects, working on farms etc.

Autres infos...

I'm traveling with a dog in a small MiniVan. We can sleep in it, however, Hope can not stay in there during the day in summer. The car will heat up quite fast.
