We enjoy to be of service to others. And, we love to learn about different cultures and ways of life. We are so happy with the small joys of life like sipping a cup of tea and having great conversation with people around a bond fire. We are open-minded and hardworking with a sense of humour. We are social, but not party-animals! :-) By 10 p.m., we enjoy retreating quietly. We are non-smokers.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?
I (Jacqueline) have worked as a Receptionist for 4 years in a retirement home until last year. I have enjoyed being a homemaker for seniors in the past 4 + years; my tasks are light gardening, meal prep, companionship, light housekeeping, etc. Many years ago, I travelled for 5+ years in Australia, Hawaii, Alaska, and British Columbia doing different jobs such as camp counsellor for kids on a cruise ship, as a maintenance person in a youth hostel for a couple of seasons, and as a background performer for movies in British Columbia. Lately, I am interested in taking care of our environment so we can leave mother earth in better shape for future generations. Throughout the years, I have obtained a diploma in Office Administration, Early Childhood Education, and Leisure Studies. I am a hard worker, and I get along well with people even with different views! Always ready to learn!
(Eric) I am a homeowner and a manual guy. I like Do-It-Yourself projects. I usually thoroughly research the subjects before picking up the hammer (or whatever tool if any:)
I am creative and usually conduct or collaborate with the project from beginning to end although I realize it may hard to complete something in a few weeks. I am very much of a self learner and have made a career out of this feature. After my morning coffee, i am a happy guy and ready to tackle anything required for the day.
Biochemistry-Nutrition is what I have studied in at university. Realizing the lack of job opportunities, I later certified in Procurement. After a 20+ career in the government namely in procurement and contracting, health issues related to stress at work told me I wasn’t at the right place. A franchise opportunity came up. I later on became independent with my own company name “enTIREly mobile”. I install vehicle tires, repair windshields and wheels.
I offer roadside assistance focusing on quality of service and customer service.
I love what I do and believe I am making a difference, one customer at a time.
In my own time I have managed, modified, and renovated income properties. I am also a relentless investor picking up option trading in my spare time.
I think I would be an ideal candidate for Workaway because I am a quick learner, sociable, value human interaction and can be very productive working by myself.
