Description
An outgoing and fairly experienced “traveller” I’m looking to spend some time getting to know places closer to home. As a secondary teacher I’ve used my profession to work in both South America and East Africa.
A keen Hill walker and cyclist I try to stay fit, my time in Ireland introduced me to wild swimming which has become a passion. Alongside sport I’m a music enthusiast with eclectic taste but especially folk.
Motivated to support those around me I have volunteered with various ngo’s including those working with homeless persons, mental health and most recently Ukrainian refugees where I developed some useful diy skills.
I like to bring enthusiasm and energy to my work and life and find variation is key to keeping myself occupied.

I'm a qualified secondary school teacher with extensive travel experience and variety of roles overseas.
I've worked in homeless services, taught English in South America and run a retreat centre guest house so I've had a varied experience over the years, just the way I enjoy it.
Having decided against "normal" life I've rented my house out and decided to hit the road full time for 12 months.
