Huhuu! Or hey! ;)

My name is Ida, I’m 20 years old and I live in Hamburg, a northern city in Germany. Recently I passed my finals in school and I plan to study psychology in autumn 2026. Just until I start to attend university I’d love to travel the world, get to know as much people and cultures as possible and learn (new) languages!! :)
Working in a hostel, helping on a family/house project, working on a farm, participate in a non-governmental organisation, babysitting, taking care of animals and so on are only a few examples of what I’d be really interested and open to do in the following months!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

- SERVICE JOBS

I worked for two years (and still work) at a service company where I get to work not only as a waitress but also as a barkeeper, helping hand for the cooking chef and as a hostess, depending on the location I am disposed at (sometimes in a hotel, sometimes in a theatre/at a business event/ at the stadium/…) which is why I am completely used to customer contact. I love to talk to customers on a personal level and make them feel seen and comfortable (as well as doing some jokes if it’s appropriate in the situation 😁).
- TEACHING SCHOOL CONTENT: As I passed my finals as the best student of my graduation year, I spent much time teaching and helping other younger students or even my twin sister in English, Math, German, French, Biology, History… This is why I’m absolutely capable of and interested in teaching and helping other students!!
- PLAYING SOCCER: Ida without soccer = impossible!!! I fell in love with this sport with the age of 6 years and I still adore this sport! Playing with others and showing them some skills is definitely something I can contribute to people with great pleasure :)
- CHILD CARE: On the one hand, I spent my entire childhood with my two sisters: an older sister and a twin sister. Growing up with my sisters not only taught me the basic rules of living together (like the right way to eat, communicate or play together) but it also taught me to take care of those closest to you, to share with anyone, to make up after an argument or just to show love, respect and admiration for each other. That's why I'd love to share this positive experience :).
On the other hand, I‘m currently doing a volunteer at the famous soccer club FC St. Pauli in my hometown Hamburg, where I take care of children from the age of 1 to the age of 16, so quite a wide range :) Besides teaching them how to play soccer, I support them with daily challenges such as eating, tying shoes, consoling after fight/injury or simply just for a little chit chat on curious questions about life :).
