Hello,

I'm a 25 year old solo traveller. I've stepped away from full-time work to travel and gain new experiences. I'm looking for opportunities to volunteer, contribute to communities, and learn local languages in late 2025 and through the first half of 2026.

I'm an open and outgoing person and a team-player whose always willing to roll up my sleeves and help out, but I'm also a big reader who likes his down-time and a strong coffee/tea.

I've been travelling across Morocco, Europe, and Turkey since July 2025 and have had a brilliant time seeing more of the world and meeting people from all over.

Before travelling, I was a young professional in Australia with experience in a diverse range of areas, including: tutoring students across a range of academic subjects, sports coaching, program and event management, and professional research and writing. I also have 4+ year work experience in hospitality as a bartender.

I'm currently open to a variety of volunteering roles, with particular interest in teaching English and any oppotunities for language exchanges.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

- Teaching and tutoring: I have one year professional experience as the lead of a tutoring program for migrants and refugee students and 2+ years experience as a volunteer tutor in Canberra, Australia. I'm confident teaching students at all levels in English and other subjects (literature, history, and basic-to-intermediate math. I can also teach a range of sports and chess.

- Program management and organisation: I have 3+ years professinoal experience in managing programs and overseeing events for Canberra-based Australian organisations, ranging from community-focused events to high-profile international dialogues.

- Writing: I'm an accomplised researcher and writer who's published everything from large reports (>20,000 words) to shorter articles in major Australian newspapers.

Hobbies include:

- Sports: Love football (soccer) and basketball, both as a player and a fan. As an Australian I love to swim (although admittedly am not much of a surfer).

- Boardgames: I'm a fan of almost any boardgame, but I'm particularly avid Chess player.

- Reading: read a lot of books. Have begun reading more in Spanish, and soon hopefully Russian.
