Hi! I'm Hanna — 29, from Germany
I'm about to start my Working Holiday in New Zealand and am planning more adventures in Japan and French Polynesia. This is a long-held dream come true — to slow down, explore, and immerse myself in new places and cultures.

I'm excited to meet kind people, learn new things, and be part of meaningful exchanges while living a little more offline and a lot more in the moment. I’m curious, open-minded, love nature, and value genuine connection — through work, conversation, or shared meals.

Reading fantasy, running (training for my first ever half-marathon — hopefully at Hobbiton!), learning to surf, and simply being present are things that bring me happiness.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I recently finished a Master's in Sustainable Development and have a Bachelor’s in Leisure & Event Management. I'm leaving my role at a start-up where I worked in people-focused leadership and team development — but I'm looking forward to contributing in a much more hands-on way now.

Work-wise, I’m reliable, responsible, and quick to adapt. My past experience includes:

- Being an au pair in the US (1 year, with kids aged 2-4)
- Leading teen groups in youth camps
- Working in bars & service roles
- Workaway stay in rural France, helping at a B&B
- Organizing community events

I enjoy physical tasks just as much as people-centered ones, and I'm happy to help with gardening, cleaning, reception, child care, language exchange, or creative projects. I speak fluent German and English, some French, understand Dutch, and am currently (trying!!!!!) to study Japanese.

I’m a big Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings fan (yes, visiting Hobbiton is on the list!) and love connecting with people who are just as excited about the little, magical things in life.

This year is about slowing down, living fully, and creating memories I’ll never regret — even if it’s just a quiet evening by the fire, guitar music in the background, and good conversation.

Always up for travel tips, spontaneous adventures, or sharing a meal. Would love to meet travel buddies along the way — or just hear your favorite story from the road!
