Hi! My name is Giulio and I’m an open-minded, friendly and empathetic person. I love connecting with people and sharing experiences, and I truly enjoy being surrounded by good company. One of my favorite things is going out with friends and having spontaneous conversations about whatever life brings our way.

I’ve always been curious about the world, and I like to think of myself as a scientist at heart — fascinated by how things work and full of wonder whenever I hear someone talk about science. I recently graduated in Physics, and I’m always looking for new things to learn and explore.

To process my emotions and understand myself better, I often turn to TV series, movies, and music — they help me reflect and stay in touch with what I’m feeling. I also love sports and have tried many different ones throughout the years. They help me release stress, stay active, and keep experimenting with new challenges.

I joined Workaway because I’m looking for a meaningful and exciting experience where I can meet new people, help out, and keep learning — about others and about myself. I’m really looking forward to the journey!

I'm really interested in learning new languages because I believe that language is one of the best ways to connect with people and understand their culture. Every language opens up a new way of seeing the world, and I find that fascinating. I'm always curious to discover new perspectives, and learning a language is a powerful tool to do that. Plus, I enjoy the challenge and the sense of growth that comes with it.

Experience working as a waiter and warehouse assistant, with good organizational and communication skills

Spent one month helping on a farm, doing various tasks and adapting to outdoor, physical work

Comfortable with technology and quick to learn new tools and systems

Open-minded and calm, even in stressful or unfamiliar situations — I adapt easily and enjoy problem-solving

Good team player, but also capable of working independently when needed

In my free time, I enjoy playing board games like Risk, Monopoly, or Citadels — I love games that mix strategy and fun! I'm also really passionate about cooking. I enjoy spending time in the kitchen and sometimes I even prepare dishes that take a whole day to make — it’s a way for me to relax and be creative.

A fun fact: I can juggle (with three balls for now!), and I’d love to improve my skills over time. I'm also interested in getting more into yoga and improving my physical well-being.

I'm always curious to learn about new cultures, try local food, and understand different ways of living — I believe every person and place has something unique to teach.
