Description

Hi! I'm Freja, 21 years old and from Denmark. I'm a huge language nerd, and when I travel I love learning about local language, traditions, culture and food. I have a very positive mindset, and enjoy helping out where ever I can.
I have been a scout for over 11 years, 4 of which have been as a scout leader, where I've mainly been in charge of ages 8 - 10. The last three years I've also been part of a team creating scouting courses for the ages 12 - 16. So I very much enjoy being outside - even in bad weather.
It brings me a lot of joy when I'm around children, and over the past year I've been working at a danish daycare institution with 3 - 6 year olds.
I'm looking forward to meeting a lot of new and amazing people!

I'm a big grammar-nerd, and I also love learning new alphabets. As for teaching, I find it really rewarding, and I have a patient and open-minded approach. I'd be interested in teaching English, Japanese (and Danish of course) and beginner-level french .

Languages: Danish (fluent), English (fluent), Japanese (intermediate), French (basic)

I have done a year of exchange in Japan when I was in high school (between ages 17 and 18).

I have a lot of experience working with children in a lot of different age groups (mainly from 3 years old to 13 years old, but also some experience with 1 - 3 year olds) both as a weakly scout leader and from working full time at a daycare.

I'm also very used to working and cooking outside.
