Hi!

I’m Marie, a 21-year-old from Denmark, and I’m currently doing a gap year.

I really enjoy travelling and would love to get the chance to really dive into a culture different to the Danish-German one I grew up in.

I love spending time in nature, gardening and hiking – which I get to do quite often, since I’m a scout leader for young kids. Working with kids is another passion of mine. This is my second gap year, and last year I worked in a kindergarten for half a year before travelling through Asia – both experiences were extremely educational and rewarding.
I’m an animal lover and I have experience with caring for animals since I grew up with chickens, rabbits as well as a horse.

I’m a reliable and positive person, and I’m open to helping out with all different kinds of stuff like caring for the garden and animals, cooking, and spending time with the kids.

I’m looking forward to stepping out of my everyday life, experiencing a new culture, and helping wherever I can, whilst meeting new people!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I have experience with caring for children since I've been a nanny, have worked with young kids in a kindergarten, and I have been a scout leader for 5-8-year-olds for many years now. To me, working with children is incredibly inspiring, and I love coming up with creative activities with them.

I also really love animals and have experience with taking care of them because I grew up with chickens, rabbits, and a horse.

I enjoy gardening and regularly help my grandma and my parents with weeding, sowing, and watering plants in their gardens.

I also like doing all different kinds of creative projects back home, and I love painting and writing.

In general I would say I'm a pretty quick learner, and I don't mind getting my hands dirty or trying new things.
