I am interested in learning construction and Spanish. I would love to be with people that honor a sense of community. I love any activity in the outdoors, and riding motorcycles.

Description

I am a 54 year old looking for life away from being a nurse. I am very proficient in the outdoors, and like to explore new places and trails. I would like to learn new skills in construction or about anything. I am a kind person that likes to adventure and discover new cultures. I have ran the Grand Canyon and paddled the Northern Forest Canoe Trail. I would like to become a care-free person, and enjoy life with other people and new perscpectives. I've spent a lot of time on mountain bikes and motorcycles on rugged trails and backcountry roads. I enjoy authentic communication, and hearing stories of the road. I like to sing and would like to learn an instrument and make music with others. I'm not too bad with a computer and have had to quickly learn lots of new systems. My favorite thing is to work with others in a win-win situation to complete a task, or laughter together.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I am a nurse and know wilderness rescue. I am able to maintain a home, and garden. I have raised four kids, two with disabilities, and homeschooled. I can teach most things experientially and outdoor skills. I am interested in helping people achieve their dreams and visions and be a part of them. I am passionate about laughing and sharing experiences with other people, taking away a piece on them in my heart. I would like to join an aspect of humanity that doesn't focus of illness. I would like to find a sense of peace and joy in my life. Mostly I spend my time running my house as an Airbnb hostel, and planning long distances adventures.


I have traveled all over the USA and to the Phillipines to work as a nurse or midwife. I have lived on both ends of Washington State, climbing many trails, riding my bike, and exploring by motorcycle. My travels have also taken my from Southern California to the State of Maine and a few points in-between. I have learned that each town has a completely different culture that is amazing and interesting along with it's people. I hope to meet more amazing and wonderful people through Workaway and renew my faith in the human spirit.
