Hi everyone, this is Hanne and Fiona!
We met in university, fell in love > two years ago and are about to finish our studies in social work (whooohooo). We are both 24 years old and are happy to spend this post bachelor freedom discovering other cultures, new places and ways of living.

We both have done workaways before (Fiona more than Hanne) and have been abroad for longer periods each, lastly spending an Erasmus semester together in Ireland. After high school Fiona was able to both do a voluntary year in Germany and even more practical work in Greece and Canada. At the same time Hanne was living in Barcelona for a voluntary year herself. Together we have experience in hitchhiking, gardening, getting our hands dirty and are able to adjust to different social environments. Being able to work with our hands and bodies and do crafts of any kind always brought a lot of joy and inner peace to both of us.

We would describe ourselves as empathetic, easy to motivate, funny and friendly. We laugh a lot and would also say that we‘re rather fast learning and hands on. We are open to pretty much anything and will also try anything possible, be it food or whatever. We‘re easy to talk to and meet people with an open heart.

Also, we‘re passionate about cats and herbal tea! We love music, singing, cooking and being outdoors, but also enjoy an afternoon of quiet reading. Overall, we are a sociable couple and are excited to meet you!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

We have all the skills that a qualified social worker should have or at least hope so ;). During our studies we did an internship of 5 months, where we were supporting people with severe psychiatric disorders who were struggling with managing their daily life.

We also know our ways around housekeeping and have been doing gardening work here and there. We are attentive to detail, organized and willing to extend our skill set, especially regarding (eco) construction (Fiona).
Hanne is open to doing tasks regarding social media, has quite the aesthetic vision (so says Fiona) and has fun editing videos. Hanne has been part of an international music festival (Tamburi Mundi), coordinating the volunteers and their tasks.

Autres infos...

Fiona: Apparently I am not very seaworthy as I get seasick very easily. It's a pity! But with land under my feet I work wonderfully fine, I am always willing to learn and not afraid to get my hands dirty. You can rely on me and I don't have high standards when it comes to the living situation.

Hanne: I make spaces more beautiful and with my calm appearance, i make sure everyone is comfortable. I can play the trombone and enjoy music.
