Hello and Thank You for taking Your time to visit our profile!
We are a small tranquil family which consists of me, Akvile AKA Aqua, Alex (my husband) and our 2.5yr old daughter Aurora. We are a Sardinian-Lithuanian family living in a beautiful countryside in northern Lithuania. As summer is approaching, here around our house and land we have not only plenty of work to do but also good times to share! Ideally we would combine the two!
We have a large house that needs some jobs done but the priority is the outside space, the garden..
Now many tasks will be related to helping us renovate a vintage caravan and making garden art by recycling old car tires: washing, painting them, cutting them and assembling structures like a dragon, fishes etc

We are an international family, between us we can communicate with you in English, Spanish, Italian and Lithuanian. Coming to stay with us You will see what a humble countryside life in Lithuania is like, we can share with You our stories of travelling around Europe in a camperized van, we can tell You of places to visit in Lithiuania, come and spend some nice time with us enjoying fresh air and good vibes

Aide
I have done a few different workaways myself 6-7 years ago.. we expect some 25hours of your time helping with our projects in exchange of accommodation and food, wich would probably be a mix of ready cooked meals and ingrediends so you can cook for yourself.. ts not always easy to plan what exactly we will be doing on each day, its not really important if we work on some project 1 hour and then relax and cook the rest of the afternoon.. some days we might have some building project outside and spend an entire day with it and you can be free to explore the surroudings or further Lithuania the next few days.. im not expecting real babysitting for my baby girl but if you happen to enjoy looking at books together while I cook us all lunch, then why not!
We are planning to clear all the garbage from the garden and build an outside kitchen as our first big projects. Some help with gardening, cleaning and painting is likely needed..If you have any, some, all or none of these skills/experiences, thays great, as long as you are keen to take part :)
We provide work clothes, shoes, gloves etc and protection/repellents for mosquitoes

Hébergement
We can offer a separate bedroom in our house. The house is nothing fancy, it still needs decorating the interior...so you will see some not very nice wooden walls but hopefully that wont matter much.. there is a separate bathroom and a bathroom with shower, in both the installations are quite old and we are looking at renovating them this summer... they do their function though..
We would like to go with the flow regarding food, I cook most days, if you like what I cook you are welcome to join, otherwise if you are keen you can cook for all of us, or we can provide with ingredients... we could cater for vegetarian guests, possibly vegan too.. mi casa, tu casa...

We live in a quite remote place, the house is situated in the woods about 500m from the main road, about 5km from a small town called Kupiskis. I drive to town almost every day, my husband goes to work there monday-friday if you need a lift, we can always arrange something... you can also use a bicycle that we provide..
You can go sightseeing around town for a day or we can show you around.. many weekends there are some events in town.
Our nearest Airports are Kaunas and Vilnius in Lithuania and Riga in Latvia, all located at the distance of 150km. We can help you plan your journey to get here
