I live in Italy but I will travel to the US to improve my english and teach italian language to all the people who need to learn it. I'm also interested to learn new skills helping who will host me.

Hello! My name is Fabio, and I'm someone who loves to learn, connect, and share. One of my biggest motivations for joining Workaway is to improve my English through real conversations and meaningful cultural exchange. I believe language is not just about words—it's a doorway to understanding people, their stories, and their way of life.

I find real happiness in discovering new cultures, trying different ways of living, and learning something new every day. I have a big passion for food—both cooking and eating! I love sharing recipes, preparing meals together, and learning about the traditions behind dishes. Cooking with others is one of my favorite ways to connect—it brings warmth, creativity, and joy.

I'm curious by nature and open-minded. Whether it's trying out a new skill, helping with a project, or simply listening and learning, I’m excited to grow through new experiences and genuine human connection.

My first language is Italian, which I speak fluently and confidently. I’d be happy to help anyone who wants to learn or improve their Italian—whether through conversation, grammar help, or cultural exchange. I also have a strong comprehension of English and can communicate at an intermediate level. Right now, I’m really motivated to improve my spoken English, and I would love to stay in an English-speaking environment for a few weeks to build more confidence and fluency.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I’m a passionate and curious person with a hands-on attitude and a strong love for all things creative and outdoors. One of my biggest passions is food—both cooking and discovering new flavors. I enjoy preparing meals with fresh, local ingredients and love experimenting in the kitchen. Whether it’s traditional recipes or trying something new, I take pride in sharing good food and good company.

I’m also deeply connected to music and storytelling. I’m a drummer with several albums released on Spotify, and I’ve played in various musical projects over the years. I’m always happy to jam, join creative sessions, or even help with basic audio recording or setup.

Books are another big part of my life. I’m a lifelong reader with a soft spot for literature, philosophy, and travel writing. One of my favorite authors are Henry David Thoreau and Bruce Chatwin, but I also love mystery books, and Sir Arthur Conan Doyle is above all! I love exchanging book suggestions and having meaningful conversations.

Outside of the kitchen or studio, I thrive in nature. I love hiking, camping, and just being outdoors. One of my dreams is to do a big overland solo adventure across the southwest in the USA, places that I've visited many times with my ex gf in the past, because I really love the desert and the red rocks. I’m happy to lend a hand with gardening, light maintenance work, or any project that gets me moving and outside.

I approach every new experience with openness and respect. I may not be a certified professional in every area, but I bring enthusiasm, reliability, and a strong willingness to learn and contribute wherever I can!
