Description

Hi, my name is Ethan. I am 23 years old, and am from San Francisco, California. I graduated from uni in 2024 an English degree and have been working and traveling since.

So far, I have worked six (and counting) Workaways in Greece, Turkey, Albania, Australia, Kazakhstan, and Georgia. I have acquired new cooking, cleaning, and gardening skills and have learned how to adapt quickly to environments situations and cultures. I have worked several jobs in food and customer service and am comfortable cleaning, cooking, washing dishes, and anything else. I have lots of experience with general housekeeping and gardening, and anything I haven't done before, I am excited to learn. I also have some construction experience.

In my free time, I love reading, writing, skiing playing whatever instrument I can get my hands on, and spending time hiking, camping, playing sports, or just being outside. I think of myself as open-minded and love learning new things, and I can't wait to see whats out there!

I am a native English speaker and would love to help others learn. I studied the language in uni so I am also able to teach writing and help edit anything written. I studied French for two years and would love an excuse to keep learning. I also studied Mandarin for a while and would like to practice.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I am fluent in English (I also studied it) and have a background in teaching, tutoring, editing, and writing. I would be happy to help coach English learners or help with anything where a command of the la language is needed.

I am in good physical shape and am happy doing any kind of work. I don't mind heavy lifting or other physically taxing work and am a fast learner with a good attitude.

I am also good at keeping my areas neat and am good at cleaning. I enjoy tiding up, and am happy doing anything from cleaning a house to washing dishes.

I have volunteered at many Workaways where I've gained experience pet sitting, working at a hostel, gardening and landscaping, and teaching English.

I love music, reading, and movies. I like backpacking and hiking and really anything outside. I am passionate about criminal justice and housing rights, though I am not sure how those things are applicable to Workaway.

I also love learning new things generally. I like playing cards, board games, and am really just generally up for anything.
