Description

Hello, my name is Esther and I am an art school student from The Netherlands. Right now I am living in Rotterdam and trying to discover the green communities and areas in this city. With my studies I am working with new technologies and combining this with bio art- design. this basically means that I'm using these technologies to give nature a voice and tell their stories to people who got disconnected with nature.

I would like to get more experienced in gardening and discover new perspectives on how to treat nature and living species. I am also looking for a little break from the hectic dutch city life.

As a person I would describe myself as calm, curious and pro- active. In my free time I really like to cook vega/ vegan for my roommates, hang out in the park and I am always down for playing boardgames. Sometimes I can lose myself in a way to ambitious crochet project.

I consider myself as a pretty easy going person. I can be a bit introvert at the start, but after feeling comfortable I am very willing to have deep conversations and talk about anything. ;)

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

As a child I always had a lot of animals around me, like dogs, cats, chickens and horses. Right now I am participating at a community garden, where I learn a lot about gardening and working together. Ive volunteered at some festivals which gave me some experiences in building with wood and other big materials.
I also really like working with textiles, like sewing, knitting and crocheting.
