Hi!
My name is Emma, I’m 20 years old and from Germany.
I finished high school this year and have been in New Zealand since September with a Working Holiday visa. I decided to come here to travel, improve my English, and make great memories before I start university in 2026.

I would describe myself as open-minded, friendly, helpful, organized and independent.
Coming from a big family, I learned early how to take responsibility and work well with others. I enjoy meeting new people, learning new things, and helping wherever I can.

I’m really looking forward to getting an insight into local life and creating many wonderful memories along the way.

I’ve always been very interested in languages and different cultures. At school I focused on French and took part in a student exchange program in France, which helped me become quite fluent. Now I would love to improve my English while living and working in New Zealand. I think the best way to learn a language is by using it in everyday life, meeting locals, and experiencing the culture directly.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I’m a reliable, responsible, and organized person who enjoys working both independently and as part of a team. Being open-minded and adaptable helps me feel comfortable in new environments.

I grew up in a big family with three younger siblings (now 11, 15 and 17), which taught me to take responsibility early and care for others. I’ve also looked after children of family friends for many years.

I’m happy to help with cleaning, cooking simple meals, babysitting, gardening, or other household tasks. I enjoy being outdoors, helping with practical work, and spending time with animals. I also love nature, sports, and have been horse riding for about ten years.

At school I focused on French and took part in an exchange program in France. Now I’m excited to improve my English and experience daily life and culture here in New Zealand.
