Hey, I’m Emma, 19 years old, and I’m really excited to be a part of Workaway! I signed up because I want to meet new people, learn new things, and experience life in a more hands-on way. I love exploring different cultures, making connections, and just growing through experiences.
I’m someone who loves being active and social. Whether I’m playing tennis, volleyball, or just hanging out with friends, I’m always looking for ways to stay engaged. Tennis and volleyball are two of my favorite sports—they’re not just fun, but also a great way to work with others as a team. I find that the energy of teamwork really motivates me, and that’s one of the reasons I’m drawn to Workaway: I enjoy working together to achieve something and learning from the people I meet along the way.
I also play the piano, which is something that helps me express my creative side. It’s a nice way to refocus, especially when life gets a bit overwhelming.
What really excites me about Workaway is the chance to not just help out, but also learn and grow in a practical environment. I’m eager to get my hands dirty, whether it’s gardening, helping with renovations, or assisting with events. I’m motivated by the chance to learn new skills while helping others and being part of a team. I love the idea of stepping outside my comfort zone and discovering new things along the way. For me, it’s all about meeting new people, sharing experiences, and just enjoying the journey together.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I’ve had some great experiences for example doing internships at a children’s hospital, an animal shelter, and with a vet. These roles taught me how to connect with people and animals, and I learned to be patient and understanding. I really enjoy being outdoors, staying active, and spending time in nature. I’m always up for a hands-on task and like to help where I can.
