I grew up in the countryside, near the sea. I loved being outside as a child and into my teens. Throughout my career so far I have worked across the theatre, film, tv and festival industries. A lot of these jobs have allowed me to be outside, festivals especially. Spending 4 months over the summer camping and being outside. We built and painted stages and sets. I also have gotten to go to some unique locations for work, often when these places are closed to the public, which makes a place feel really special.

All of these jobs have been creative and collaborative which are things I really enjoy and look for in life. I have spent the last 5 years in London and although it's been great I'm looking to reconnect with nature and get out of the city so am moving to Canada.

Being outside, hiking with friends, stopping mid hike for a cold swim in a lake we stumbled upon is the times I am happiest, closely followed by being creative, whether that be painting, building sets, creating costumes or drawing.

Excited to meet new people and learn new skills and just be outside!

Interested in learning Spanish, I have been slowly learning for a while but need to be consistent as I haven't been so far. Also curious to learn Sign Language and would like to get better at French, haven't done it since school.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I can paint, whether thats a plain wall in your home or scenic painting/ painting effects. I can sew, draw (I can technical draw as well as just drawing for fun, but very rusty now.) I can read architectural plans, use basic tools, drill, saw, both hand and electrical.

I am a quick learner once shown something, for example I now know how to change all the bulbs in my car from watching a video.

I have taught online creative drawing workshops. Designed and executed community art projects. I have a degree in Interior Design, which has honed my eye for colour and textures. (Incase you're looking for some home decor advice).

I have no problems getting outside and doing manual labour, (gardening, general moving things around) and am happy to learn new skills related to this.

I like animals and working with people, I am good with kids, from being a babysitter and an au pair and if you're desperate I can cut hair. (It would be a very slow haircut though as I'm not trained hah).

I was part of a choir last year which I really enjoyed. It was something new that I have always wanted to try so was very glad to get the chance to. I enjoy all types of music, from country to musicals, to rock, I love going to the theatre and gigs.

The ocean is probably the place I'm happiest, I could float around for hours. Last year I got to experience cave diving for the first time, it was only a couple that we did and they were definitely beginner friendly caves which was enough for me, but I'm really up for trying new things and pushing myself.
