Hi! I’m Elisabeth, 31 years old and I come from Holland.
After years of working as a Dutch as a Second Language teacher, I’m now setting off on an adventure! I’ll be traveling through Europe and would love to volunteer for a few months to gain new experiences and learn new skills. I’ve done different kinds of volunteering before, both in Holland and abroad, and I like it a lot. For me, it’s a good way to give back to the community while meeting people from different backgrounds.

I’d describe myself as enthusiastic, passionate, and curious. Alongside teaching, I’ve worked in various roles in healthcare, which taught me a lot about caring for and supporting others. I enjoy connecting with people, listening to their stories, and learning about different cultures.

I’m passionate about learning new things—especially languages—making and listening to music, and staying active with sports. I love spending time in nature, whether it’s hiking, camping, or just enjoying the fresh air. At the same time, I’m drawn to the energy of cities, with all their cultural activities and vibrant life. And, of course, traveling and trying new experiences is one of my joys—it’s such an exciting way to grow and see the world!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I currently work as a Dutch as a Second Language (NT2) teacher, helping immigrants improve their language skills and integrate into Dutch society. I adapt my lessons to the needs of my students and enjoy using creative methods to teach.

I also have experience working as a social worker. I worked with underaged immigrants and young people with complex challenges, guiding them toward independence and personal growth. Internationally, I volunteered in Bolivia, where I taught, managed projects, and led an empowerment program for girls.

I love learning, traveling, and volunteering because they give me the chance to meet new people, gain new skills, and make a difference.
