Hello there!

We are Dorina and Márton, both 22 years old and we’ve been a couple for over five years. Our aim is to gain diverse work experience, explore new cultures and countries, meet people from different backgrounds and build meaningful connections along the way. We've already traveleld together to Sweden, Denmark, Spain, Italy and several neighboring countries of Hungary and we’re excited to continue our journey of discovery.

We are big adventure lovers with a passion for spending time outdoors and staying active. Whether it’s going for a refreshing run, practicing yoga or setting off on a hiking trail to explore nature, we truly enjoy all kinds of activities that keep us moving and connected to the world around us. When we’re not out adventuring, we love to slow down and enjoy more creative and cozy moments. We both enjoy drawing and expressing ourselves through art as well as playing board games or cards with friends or each other.

We’ve just completed an amazing eight-month journey in Palma de Mallorca which we absolutely loved. Now we’re excited to set out on our next adventure and combining our passion for traveling with meaningful work experiences along the way!

About Dorina:
Hospitality & Customer Service:
-Great customer service and people-oriented approach, creating welcoming and positive experiences.
- Barista expertise and coffee preparation skills (waitress and barista experience)
-Ability to stay calm under pressure in busy service environments

Childcare:
- Planning and leading daily programs and activities that were tailored to
the children's ages, interests and needs. (Children's camp supervisor)
- Prepare meals, organize activities, maintain routines and ensure a loving and responsible presence while the parents are away. (Babysitter for two young girls aged 4 and 7)

Farm, Animal & Nature Care:
- I also have plenty of experience caring for pets — I rescued a rabbit five years ago and often care for dogs and cats so I’m comfortable with feeding, walking, and basic grooming.
- I'm happy to help you with taking care fo your garden. Long term, I dream of owning a small farm and I’m eager to learn practical farm and animal-care skills from you.
-Willingness to learn and grow in farm work and sustainable living

About Márton:
Architecture:
- I’m a recent architecture graduate who enjoys practical, hands-on work.  If you're renovating or building I am happy to give you all of my knowledge on buildig methodologies and applications.
-Good manual skills and natural ability to pick up new tasks quickly, it helps adapt effectively to a wide range of situations and challenges

Physical work:
-During my studies I worked across several garden- and construction-related roles - installing irrigation systems, laying paver blocks, general plant care and maintenance, tree pruning, and installing wall panels on construction sites.

Childcare:
- Assisted with childrens daily routines, looking after them, helping to foster their social and cognitive development, doing creative activities (I was a volunteer at a kindergarten for a summer)

Art and craft:
-I express myself through art, finding it a natural way to communicate my thoughts and emotions.
-My passion for drawing often focuses on buildings and people, which reflects my background in architecture and my fascination with how spaces are used by humans.

Maintenance:
-Experienced in general tasks around the house - carpentery, painting, repairs, mowing, weeding
-Actively volunteering on tree-planting projects with 10 millió fa (10 Million Trees) - used to teamwork and outdoor physical tasks that improve shared spaces.

Laissé par le workawayer () pour l'hôte (Join us on our peaceful finca ...)

We've been lucky enough to have Lea, David and Adda as our first ever workaway host. We've gained so many memories that will stay with us forever! During the whole stay they treated us like friends not as their workawayers.

We spent 2,5 weeks on their peaceful land full of Olives. They offered us their guest Yurt, which has all the necessities… read more you need for a good long sleep (you'll even be able to enjoy the comfort of the yurt during the day as you'll have siesta after every lunch). We've been there in October and still there was no need to use the wood furnace as the yurt was nice and warm.

We helped them around the garden with everything we could. Renovating an old caravan (it's name is Müesli, if you visit them you'll sure find out why it received the name), planting and taking care of trees, preparing and planting beans, and lots of woodwork around the land. Although we helped a lot there was never pressure on us. We only had to do what we felt comfortable with, there was no rush, if we needed a break they never forced us to work more.

The food was excellent, most of the things used are from the neighbouring lands or from ecotienda. We had freshly cooked meal on the table twice a day which was a blessing after a long productive day. Gracias por la comida!... (became our favorite little song during the weeks) We planned the cooking in advance so we knew when we'd be in the kitchen making food for all of us. Of course you'll cook only if you're comfortable with it.

Communication was so fluent with the daily check-ins. You'll not only talk about what has to be done on the land but how you're feeling and what else you'd need in order to feel comfortable. They will pay 100% attention to you and if you're in you'll connect with their beatiful family in a deeper level. You can be yourself with them, they are good listeners and help you in every way they can.

We had plenty of time to explore the surrounding. The mountains, the valley, the village Órgiva and the people all around, just like a little fairytale. Of course they helped us with suggesting hikes, activities but they were also in for walks together. We were unlucky because their beloved camper van was at the mechanic the whole time but I'm sure if it was working we'd have been going to the see with them.

Addi is the cutest little person on the planet! She will need a bit of time to get to know you but when she accept you as a cool person, you will have the best little company for yourself! We truly enjoyed every moment with her.

To sum up we hade one of the most meaningful 2,5 weeks of our life.
