Hello! I'm Denisa (31) from the small historic town Sighișoara in Transylvania, Romania. I'm a self employed communication specialist (PR, social media, advertising, marketing, graphic design, video) who has a flexible schedule and can work from anywhere.

Throughout my communication career, I’ve gathered experience across diverse environments - the corporate world (Microsoft, HPE), NGOs (AIESEC, European Solidarity Corps programs), commercial sectors (local businesses in hospitality, health, beauty, education), as well as Romanian Parliament. Before doing this I dipped my toes in hospitality, working at an internationals-only hostel in Romania.

More personal details. I'm bit of an introvert, with extroverted bursts - love deep conversations and spending time in groups but recharge in silence and nature. I value honesty, empathy, and people with open minds. I thrive in peaceful, tidy environments. I make my bed every morning and I cook and eat simple and clean (mostly plant based). I enjoy baking cakes, singing (to myself, lol, I'm shy) and having fun with DIY projects. When I was younger I spent most my time reading, doodling/drawing, cuddling my cat and playing acoustic guitar.

I love being in nature, going on adventurous hikes and long walks & drives (got my license in 2023, I drive a compact SUV 4WD). My most recent interest is birding. I'm a visual arts enthusiast and a creative spirit at heart. Photography is my main hobby - I love capturing plants, bugs and animals, and small details that often go unnoticed (macro photography). In the last 10 years, I can proudly say I’ve planted around 700 trees and volunteered in many other nature-restoring initiatives. I have a bit of green thumb, a few plants in my apartment, and helped my mom with her veggie garden as often as I could. I am not afraid to get my hands or clothes dirty and I am fine with physical work. I like to think out of the box and find ingenious solutions in my activities.

Trying to pick up reading again. I also have an interest for philosophy and psychology, so the last book I read was The Earth Has A Soul, C.G. Jung - On Nature, Technology and Modern Life.

What's in my playlist: a mix of old rock music, lo-fi beats and electronic music.

My English is at C1 level (certified by IELTS), and I’m currently learning Spanish and French. And because I believe in life-long learning, I am also attending online courses to gain extra skills.

When it comes to my philosophy of life, I walk the path less travelled, always seeking to stay aligned with my values and contribute to making the world a better place. I notice the beauty and wonder of everything around & stop and smell the flowers. I’m inspired by people who create, protect, and stand up for something meaningful. I value peace over noise, depth over speed, authenticity over appearances. I believe that experiences matter and shape us more than possessions. I like to stay curious and learn about people, cultures, ideas, ecosystems. I love exploring new places but I prefer slow, mindful travel.
