Description
It’s amazing how many times I’ve rewritten this first sentence. I think this is indicative to why I am looking into Workaway in the first place. I enjoy the outdoors (cycling, camping, hiking), the arts (museums, philosophy, photography), and people (getting to know them as well as their culture and language). I am currently looking for an opportunity to learn and practice French in an environment that I can feel like I can contribute to. Other than this two things I’m open to and willing to experience anything an opportunity has to offer, no better way to go on an adventure than to say, emphatically, “yes!”.

I currently work as a self employed massage therapist, a part time bike service technician, and a part time event photographer! I have worked so many different jobs and enjoy learning about how things work together to make the world go around and, at the end of the day, make the world a better place! In the past, I have worked in hospitals, on farms, in butcher shops, construction sites, finance offices, sawmills, and sugar shacks; there’s not a lot I haven’t done and I’ve enjoyed every opportunity!

There are three main modes you can expect to find me in when I have free time. Cycling (short or long, I’m just happy to be on my bike) behind my camera (I love to create) or looking for a river, lake or pool to swim in! Additionally, just talking and hearing about someone is a goal of mine in this season.
