Hi, I'm a retired social worker from Australia who enjoys travelling, volunteering, teaching and meeting people. I previously worked for the department of Child Safety and Youth Justice. I'm a practical person who can help with gardening, cooking, cleaning, general maintenance. I completed a TESOL ( Teach English) certificate and volunteered in Thailand and Cambodia. During my visits home I enjoy assisting people with Workaway and house sitting. I've previously worked on a small farm and with house maintenance. I have two daughters and two grandsons. I am a sociable person who likes meeting people and sharing experiences. I have backpacked in Sth America, Africa and Europe. I enjoy staying healthy and fit with walking, swimming and cycling. I am also content with my own company reading a good book. I look forward to meeting you soon.

Colin stayed for one week as he had another commitment.
In his short stay he completed several tasks I had been putting off because of the hot weather.as usual there was mowing to be done
He is an easy going person, well travelled and fitted in well. He initiated jobs I had been putting off for some time.

I stayed for a week with John on his tranquil property at Mooloolah. John has a wonderful garden and an extensive knowledge of plants. I stayed with Andrew on the property at Maleny for a week. Andrew was very well organised with tasks that needed doing each day. I assisted with weeding and house painting. Colin came and helped me for a few days and manage to fit in a lot of work in a short time. He revamped my veg gardens and friends can't believe how good it all looks now.
