Hi! I’m a 19-year-old high school graduate from Germany, currently taking a gap year before starting my medical studies at university in October.

At the beginning of this year, I spent two months in Australia, and I absolutely fell in love with the country — which is why I’m coming back soon!

During my last trip, I was travelling with my best friend and we had an opportunity to stay with a lovely family in Tweed Heads. We helped take care of four children and supported the family with daily tasks around the house and in the garden. It was such a nice experience.
I also had the chance to explore places like Brisbane, the Gold Coast and Sydney.

I come from a big family with four brothers, so I’m very used to a lively environment. At home, I also have a cat and a horse, and I love spending time outdoors — especially running or going for a ride. I would describe myself as an active and outgoing person, but I also really value having some quiet time to recharge.

In addition, I enjoy crocheting, which I’d be happy to teach if you’re interested! I can also help with learning a bit of German.
I’m also vegetarian and would be happy to cook some vegetarian meals with you.

This time, I’ll be travelling on my own and would love to stay with a friendly and welcoming family in or close to Brisbane. I’m happy to help with housework, gardening, childcare, or anything else I can assist with. I’m reliable, open-minded and always willing to learn new things.

I’m really looking forward to meeting new people, and becoming part of a family during my stay!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I have experience helping in a family environment, as I spent two months in Australia supporting a host family with four children. My tasks included childcare, housework and gardening.

Growing up with four brothers, I’m very comfortable in busy households and enjoy spending time with children. I’m also used to outdoor and physical work, as I regularly take care of my horse where I often help with cleaning stalls or supporting my trainer in general.

I’m reliable, organized and quick to learn, and I’m happy to help with cleaning, cooking, gardening or anything else that’s needed.
