  Description

  Hello, we are looking for assistance with general household tasks and some help with two children. This role is primarily household assistance rather than assistance with the children although we do require help with both. We are flexible on duration of stay.
  
  We are a family of 4 - mum, dad, a 2 year old and a 16 month old baby.
  
  We live 8km from the city in a four bedroom, two storey house. We are looking for some help with general household duties and some assistance with the children. Mum will always be here with the babies as well. You won’t be left alone with the children.
  
  About us:
  - we have a very calm and fun household filled with lots of love in our little family.
  - We have a beagle and a cat so an animal lover is definitely preferred.
  - Mum works from home three days a week, the children are in daycare during the work hours
  - Dad works almost full time in the office.
  
  What is required:
  - approx 20 hours per week and the days are flexible.
  - Assistance with meal prep, laundry, general tidying and cleaning to help the household.
  - Assistance with children would be helping at nap times, feeding times etc and assisting for 3 hours (7-10am) watching and playing with the children on a Thursday morning while Mum and Dad work from home. Childcare would not be the main part of the role.
  - If comfortable, we would also like some assistance with walking our dog. Not every day as he we also have a dog walker who takes him out.
  - Some Saturdays we may require assistance on the rare occasion but plenty of free time available during the week and never required on Sundays. This is also very rare and may not be required during your stay at all and is definitely open for discussion.
  
  We are also open to hosting couples. If a couple is interested we would have one person assist with household tasks and children and the other person with labour tasks around the household such as digging, helping with external handyman projects etc.
  
  Home:
  - You would have your own bedroom with king bed and smart tv. Unlimited Wifi.
  - You will have your own bathroom (we will need to use the bathroom to bath the babies but the rest of the time it’s yours).
  - 4 bedroom house, 2 storeys, brand new home
  - You will have access to a magnesium pool whenever you like
  - Walking distance to loads of shops, cinema etc and plenty of public transport access.
  - Driving is not required.
  
  Prefer someone already in Australia or with a visa approved and flights purchased.

  we are a very active family. We can offer you great tips for restaurants and fun activities. When we go out to do things that would be enjoyable for you we would definitely invite you along. You will have plenty of free time to explore. We are a nice family and you would be welcome to ask us any questions you have. We would be happy to teach you about Australian culture and lifestyle and my husband is English as well. We would also love to learn about your culture and where you are from.

  Help with assisting with children (never left alone with children as mum is home), preparation of meals, general house cleaning, laundry etc. help with the children will just be an extra set of hands holding one while I put the other to sleep etc.

  Most of the family is vegetarian but you can cook what you like for yourself or enjoy the same meal as us. We would love to learn about your meals from your country so we would welcome any traditional cooking also.
