Hi! I grew up in Hangzhou, China, left home at 18 to explore the world, and now call California home. I love traveling, being outdoors, and spending time with plants and animals—gardening, cooking, and dog/cat sitting are some of my favorite things.

I dream of owning a farm one day, so hope to learn more about gardening, sustainable agriculture, and especially caring for and training horses. I enjoy hands-on work, learning new skills, and exchanging cultures. I’m also in the process of learning French, so always excited for any opportunities to practice.

I’m a Data Scientist, and like to think of myself as handy and fast learning. Here’s how I can help!

GARDENING: learned gardening in my dad’s rose garden and gained experience tending to my many plants. Proud of growing an avocado tree and two pipa trees from seeds :)

ANIMALS: owner of two cats and stepparent to many friends’ cats/dogs, I have a natural instinct in taking care of animals.

COOKING: specialize in Chinese cuisine and always passionate about learning recipes from other cultures (see my album for pics!)

HORSES: some experience riding horses, and more experience taking care of them (cleaning stables, showering horses, etc)

ART: studied art history in college. Love architecture and interior design, with much experience in painting and drawing.

LANGUAGE: bilingual in Mandarin and English. Conversational in French and improving!
