🌿 Join our family in Dar Bouazza !
Hello Workawayers!
We are a warm, lively and curious family of four living in Dar Bouazza, a relaxed coastal and surf village about 30 minutes from Casablanca.
Our family includes Mona, Yacine, our 10-year-old son and our 8-year-old daughter, together with our cat, dog, three turtles and two birds. 🐱🐶🐢
We live in a lovely house with a garden, swimming pool, gym and sunny outdoor spaces, just a few minutes from the beach.
👨👩👧👦 A little about us
We are both entrepreneurs with very different but complementary worlds.
Mona runs a company working on composting, organic waste and regenerative approaches to agriculture, while Yacine owns a bookstore and a publishing house.
We are passionate about sustainability, education, books, art, culture, nature, food and alternative ways of learning.
We love meeting people from different countries and sharing our everyday life with them. We are not looking for someone simply to "work in our house" — we are looking for someone who would genuinely enjoy becoming part of our family for a while and sharing an experience with us.
🌊 Life in Dar Bouazza
Dar Bouazza is a great place for someone who enjoys the ocean and a relaxed lifestyle while still having easy access to Casablanca.
We are only a few minutes from the beach and local surf spots. You can swim, surf, walk along the coast or simply enjoy the sunsets.
There are also yoga studios, organic farms and other places to explore nearby.
During our free time, we may also take you with us on trips and help you discover different parts of Morocco.
🇲🇦 Cultural exchange
We would love to share Moroccan food, family life, traditions and culture with you.
We speak English, French and Arabic, so there are plenty of opportunities for language exchange too.
In return, we are curious to learn about your country, language, food, culture, music and interests.

Staying with us is an opportunity to experience everyday life in Morocco rather than simply visiting as a tourist.
We can introduce you to Moroccan food, family traditions, markets, local life and places that you might not discover on your own.
We love cooking and sharing meals, and we speak English, French and Arabic, so language exchange is very welcome.
Because of our professional interests, you may also discover a little of the world of sustainability, composting, regenerative agriculture, books and publishing.
And when our schedules allow, we may take you along on family outings or trips and show you some of the Morocco we love.
We would also love to learn from you — your language, culture, food, music, hobbies, skills and stories.. -

🌈 What we are looking for
Our children attend an American school nearby from 9 am to 3 pm.
We are mainly looking for someone who enjoys children and would like to make their afternoons fun, active and meaningful.
Your time with them might include:
• Helping with homework and reading
• Preparing healthy snacks
• Playing outside or doing sports
• Arts, crafts and creative projects
• Gardening or small DIY projects
• Cooking together
• Introducing them to your language, culture or hobbies
• Starting a little project together during your stay
• And, most importantly, playing, talking, laughing and spending quality time with them
We particularly value someone who is kind, responsible, creative, energetic and genuinely interested in children.
Previous childcare, teaching, tutoring, sports, arts or educational experience is a plus.
🕐 Schedule
We ask for approximately 4 hours per day, 5 days per week, mainly on weekdays after school.
Occasionally, we may need a couple of hours on a Saturday, but this will be discussed and agreed upon in advance.
We are particularly interested in longer stays, as we find that children and Workawayers both benefit from having enough time to build a real connection -

Hébergement
You will have your own private bedroom and private bathroom in our home.
You will also have access to our garden, swimming pool, gym and terrace.
We have Wi-Fi, and if you work or study online, you will have space and internet access to do so when we are not using the common areas. -

The area has many public means of transport to reach the city (shared taxis and buses).
We also have a bicycle you can borrow to cruise around.
We have free internet access for those who would like to work while we are not here. -
