Description

I am happiest when I am out in nature, listening to the birds, waves breaking, the wind in the trees, crunching of frost underfoot. I hike a lot in my home island state of Tasmania, in Australia among the trees, rocks and mountains. I have just started cold water swimming to overcome my resistance to the cold beach water in Tasmania since I lived in the tropical north of Australia for 10 years which had much warmer water. I am also creative and love painting little mandala stickers which adorn all of my many water bottles and thermoses.
I'm exploring alternative ways of living beyond the path I've followed or witnessed so far. I love hearing people's stories, learning about their fascinating lives. I am hoping that Workaway will introduce me to a world of wonderful, interesting, warm, fun, creative people who I can learn from and grow with.
