Description
An 80 acre property, in Lorinna, North West of Tasmania. 50 acres is a spectacular protected forest nature reserve, with walking tracks which takes you down to Lake Cethana. … think platypus .. gorgeous spot!
Fully off grid and we are moving towards sustainable living.
The property has an established orchard and vegetable garden, all needing ongoing maintenance.
We have two dogs - who are a big part of our world - Archie (cavoodle) and Murphy (border collie) - they will love you too.
Also, we have chooks, geese and 5 sheep!

Aide
With 80 acres, we have lots of jobs on the ‘to do list!’
We have a beautiful straw bale home, a big vegetable garden and over 100 fruit trees- all with a variety of tasks to do!
Depending on what time of the year, and what project we have underway - depends what we will love some help with.
Chopping, stacking, weeding, thinning, brush cutting, mulching, oiling, herding, cleaning, refilling, pruning, biocharing, raking, digging, building, sorting, preserving, drying, fowlering, picking, walking, feeding…. Plenty of words to choose from!

We have a few options
1. Inside main house we have a room, with a queen bed.
2. Just a few steps from the main home, is our log cabin. Basic kitchen set up. Queen bed, and wood heater.
Shared family bathroom.
Our home is fully solar powered, with tank water.
We are in a remote part of the North West of Tasmania, with no public transport and very few facilities located locally.
- 30 min to a local store. Our community has a little store that sells pantry goods on Tuesday and Saturday.
- Telstra is the only ‘carrier’ that works..

We have a canoe you can borrow, walking tracks near by, fishing on the lake. Cradle Mountain is 1 hour drive away.
