hello all,
I've been wanting to do some travelling for a long time and have decided that time is now.
I've looked into a variety of ways to to do this and a volunteer/workaway appeals the most as it allows more time to appreciate the location your in, meet new people along the way and share and create experiences.
Plus I love to help so I don't see it a s working for accomodation as such but more a opportunity to really experience other cultures whether that is of the location I'm in or elsewhere.
Im also keen to beging learning a second language and torn between Spanish or Portuguese so there's a willing student for anybody who should wish to school me.
Been in the construction trade for 15+ years so capable with manual tasks, Im definitely a enthusiastic cook and love to share and learn new recipes.
Dependent on language required with customer service positions I can also help out with and admin etc
I am always willing to learn new skills, and I'm hoping to get some experiences on farms with animals and agricultural farming. I've never tasted food seeded myself and would like that experience using the most organic and fresh ingredients possible.
In that note house pets whether cot or dog etc are usually ok with my presence as well as children and I enjoy there's too.
I am hoping to be with my first host with by mid-late January and would prefer longer stays from 1 month+ to begin with.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

My main trade/profession is pointing decorating with much experience in multi trade works.. although not officially I've been told I'm quite the life coach for others, maybe need one for myself though lol.
I love to cook for others and learn new recipes and methods where cooking is concerned. I enjoy songwriting especially when collaboration is involved.
I have more skill to offer but rather than list them I feel it more important to convey that I am seeking and enjoy learning new skills in all fields.

Im pretty good at reading environments, which I mention because I like to be social but not in a way of forcing it upon others. Basically I am good in my own company but enjoy that of others and learning about other people's experiences, ways of doing things and culture. I enjoy a drink socially if the vibe is right but I'm not so much the party guy in my older age.
My hobby to put it simply is people, and life and meeting others that are alike or that I can help in some way. I like to enhance the environments I enter into.
