Description

Hello, I am Arthur, 25 years old, and I live in Belgium.
I joined Workaway because I want to improve my language skills, meet new people, and immerse myself in different cultures. Traveling has always been a big part of my life—I’ve explored places like Singapore, Australia, Bali, USA, South Africa, Brasil, The Philippines and many more. During this trips I realized how much I enjoy learning about other cultures and decided to return to my studies.

I’m currently studying Tourism & Recreation Management at VIVES University in Bruges, a beautiful city that I highly recommend you look up. I’m sure you’ll fall in love with its charm and history!

I’m a very social and active person who loves connecting with others, whether it’s through a quick chat or shared experiences. Sports are a big part of my life, and I enjoy soccer, tennis, cycling, running, and padel (Tennis/squash combination). I’ve also run four marathons and have two more lined up—it’s my way of staying motivated and focused.

In addition to my love for travel and culture, I’m also very interested in the financial world and enjoy staying updated on current events. While I enjoy studying, I also love rolling up my sleeves and helping out wherever I can. Physically demanding tasks don’t scare me; I embrace challenges and believe in hard work.

Through Workaway, I hope to combine my passions for travel, cultural exchange, and personal growth. I’m excited to meet amazing hosts and Workawayers, contribute meaningfully to projects, and create unforgettable memories.
