Hi, I am Barbora, a girl who is looking to gain new skills, share some knowledge, and to help you with your house projects, animal care, general maintance...to put it simply, I am more than happy to offer my helping hand in whatever is required.
I have just obtained a master's degree in Germany in Business and Economics. So, with that part of my life finalized, I am ready for new adventures. I love animals, especially horses, dogs and cats. I am also very fond of nature and outdoor environment as I grew up in a very rural area. However, I am also familiar with the big city life as I lived in Shanghai for two years.
I am an open-minded, tolerant person always eager to teach/learn various skills or new languages and sharing different perspectives. I am a fast learner and can adapt to new environment quickly. I follow instructions well and consider myself rather independent.
Plus I have 5 sibling so I know how to get along with people well ;)

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I am skilled in general housework and outdoor maintnance as well. Thanks to my previous workaway experience I have a solid knowledge of animal care (dogs, cats and horses), and ornamental as well as permaculture gardening.

I am an intermediate but confident rider, who improves a little every day, and I know how to handle horses with care. I can exercise horses daily either from the ground or from the saddle if required. I follow the owner's preference and always discuss the exercise beforehand to make sure its beneficial for all parties involved.
I am also comrotable around other farm animals such as cows, sheep, goats, reindeer...although I do not have any direct experience I can pick up on their respective care requirements quickly.
I have also cat-sat and dog-sat before. The cats I was looking after had to take their medication twice a day so I can also manage cats with medical conditions.

I also have experience in hospitality - I worked at a surf hostel in Ireland through workaway. Thanks to that experience, I can now confidently manage check-ins, check-outs, serve breakfast, take reservations over the phone, keep up with e-mail correspondence, and housekeep.

I have a drivers license and am able to drive on both sides of the road (manual and automatic). Thanks to my workaway experience in Iceland I can also manage off-road driving. I've had my fair share of driving cars with various quirks so if your vehicle has a six gear stick but only five gears, or has a non functional handbrake, don't worry, I've been there.

I grew up in a village so I am familiar with the rural life and its challenges. I like learning new things and discovering different cultures. Moreover, I am a fast learner who is very eager to widen my horizons.
I can offer language lessons, namely English and Mandarin Chinese (up to C1 level) and German (up to B2).

I love nature so any work outside is very welcome. I am also hoping to improve my horse-riding skills, more specifically jumping. Other than that I am also very interested in local cuisine and language. In accordance with the true workaway spirit, I am looking to become a part of the family wherever I go
If you can teach me archery it would be a big plus ...as random as it is.
