Description
Hello, i'm Javier and i have my little farm in Sierra de Gata. I am managing it according to Permaculture principles. Project is still in the first steps. My aim is to become as self sufficient as possible. I was living in different places, cities and country side, and now i'm very happy to live surrounded by Nature.

I am native spanish, so i can help you with your spanish. Also i will be happy to share my knowledge about Permaculture, wich i'm pasionate about. You will learn about microorganisms reproduction techniques, and how to regenerate soil.

Aide
I have been living in this beautiful place for seven years, so there is still a lot of stuff to do. Your tasks may include gardening, watering plants, fencing, bioconstruction, traditional construction, chicken's maintenance, animal caring, making compost, harvesting seasonal crops, cooking preserves...I'm flexible with your work, so you will be doing what you prefer to do between different options. Now in Summer the main help needed is with the vegetable gardens.

Hébergement
You will be staying in your own little house. There is a shared dry toilet outside (with fantastic views) and an outdoor solar shower. Winter shower facilities are on the way! There is electricity access in your little house. The farm has olive trees and another young fruit trees. It is surrounded by forest and there is a river in one on the borders, beautiful space to swim in the summer.
Normally we will have meals together. I will provide you with all the food, when possible the one produced in the place! -

Farm is located in Sierra de Gata, in the north of Extremadura, not far from Portugal. It is surrounded by forest and there is a nice river in the border. The closest village is around 7 kms away. The biggest city nearby is Plasencia (1 hour by car). From here, there is bus and train to Madrid, Sevilla, Salamanca and other cities.
