Description

Hi, we’re Anna and Jimmy – it’s lovely to meet you!

We’re a warm, easy-going couple from the UK currently living in Australia on a working holiday visa. For the past four months, we’ve been travelling around Australia in our car with a roof tent, and Workaway has been a fantastic way for us to explore new places, meet wonderful people, and experience local life more deeply. While we’re here, we’d especially love the opportunity to experience farm or station life if the chance arises!

We both enjoy being outdoors – whether it’s hiking, camping, swimming, or simply soaking up nature. We’re passionate about animals, cooking, staying active, and learning new skills wherever we can.

A healthy, balanced lifestyle is really important to us, and we’re always keen to try something new. (Jimmy is currently training for the Sydney Marathon this August, so we’re especially eager to keep active!)

In terms of work, Jimmy is a qualified Mechanical Engineer, and I (Anna) work as an Assistant Psychologist in mental health services, as well as being a certified yoga teacher.

We’ve both held a variety of jobs over the years, giving us a broad range of practical skills and a strong work ethic. We’re more than happy to help out with gardening, cooking, cleaning, animal care, odd jobs, or anything else you might need support with. You’ll find us respectful, reliable, tidy, and always willing to lend a hand.

We don’t smoke or vape, and we have no dietary requirements.

We’re a friendly and open-minded couple who are always eager to lend a hand around the house/farm! We'd be more than happy with any DIY projects, decorating, animal care.

Jimmy specialises in engineering, enjoys playing a range of sports, and plays guitar!

I love crafts and art projects, gardening have experience in childcare and hospitality,

We both love to cook and learn recipes from different cultures, and we're both very neat and clean!
