Description
After the onset of illness that forced me to stop working, I have been reconsidering what I am able and want to do in life, while healing. My illnesses are lifelong and incurable but I don't let it stop me. I still want to be useful and have a lot to give. I have participated in workaway projects before and found them very interesting and rewarding. These included natural building, running a hostel, small farming, childcare, decorating, animal care and assisting a climbing guide. My main qualities are calmness, patience, compassion, imagination and determination. I am also a native english speaker and have a CELTA english teaching certificate. I am hardworking within the realms of my abilities. I am physically able but suffer from chronic pain and fatigue. I am great at looking after people and animals, competent at domestic tasks and treat homes with respect.

I have a CELTA teaching certificate to teach English and I'm happy to help anyone that wants to practice their English. I haven't taught in a few years so don't have my materials for formal classroom lessons but I am better suited to conversational pratice and more fun, practical ways to learn anyway. I have experience teaching adults and children age 11-14 I am a beginner learning Spanish so would be happy for a chance to learn/practice some Spanish.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?
Teaching english as a foreign language. I have a CELTA certificate and I have been teaching English in Spain to Adults and teenagers for 2 months. I have done some one-to-one lessons with adults. I have worked with children ages 3-17 and I have a current CRB check.

My main hobby is rock climbing, because of chronic illness I haven't been able to go outside for a year but I am hoping to get back to it and I go every week to the climbing gym indoors. My favourite types are deep water solo and sport. I also really like swimming. I love live music and regularly go to watch it, I do vocals in an DIY band and like jamming, making melodies, lyrics and poems. I am creative and enjoy art, particularly drawing and painting. I have been working as a self employed face painter for ten years, among other jobs. I volunteered at an animal rescue, I am a carer, worked on a zip line course for 5 years, I have done domestic cleaning with great attention to detail and I can make decent meals.
