**Currently looking for a live in position in UK. We both have the EUSS and a valid NIN. We're ready to come !**
Hello people !
We are Marine and Julien, a couple from south of France. Our parents always told us that « les voyages forment la jeunesse » (travel broadens the mind) and we think they’re right.
That’s why we go abroad, discovering the world and its people.
We started our experience as workawayers 7 years ago. Our first one was in Scotland, we could barely speak english, it was for both of us our first trip as adults, and it was fabulous. As soon as we came back in France, we decided that it would be the beginning of a long story with Workaway.
A year later, we left France again to discover Ireland, working for a charity trust called « My Lovely Horse Rescue », a rescue center for abused and abandonned farm animals. For five months, we enjoyed the company of pigs, horses, sheep and goats.
We came back in Scotland to help a lady who’s offering a home for life of more than 100 animals, from cows to guinea pigs and we stayed nearly two months among them.
As the whole world, we had to stop our trips for a while during Covid, but soon after we came back on the road, helping in a farm in Austria, a garden of birds in Scotland, in France to discover more of our country and in New Zealand, where we helped a charity trust to regrow a forest.
We work in hotels, we are used to meet a lot of people, and we do enjoy it ! Our project is to have our own business in France, so we have a real interest in discovering new places.
We came back in France a month ago after a whole year abroad, working in hospitality, and we are now looking for a live in position in UK. We both have a Pre Settlement Scheme that allows us to work and live in UK until 2029.
We have lots of passion and differents interests such as painting/drawing, poetry, photography, museums, DIY and upcycling, interests about ecology...

Quelles sont vos compétences ?
We use to help in the family property who's in the country side. We are keen to do hand work, basic crafting, painting, building and reparation stuffs.
Marine loves doing precise related work, she is very patient and meticulous.
Julien is keen to work outside, loves to learn new things and not afraid of being dirty or under the rain !
We can provide you with photography work.
We are involved in all what we start, with good vibes, news ideas and lot of energy !

We also do a lot of photography, Marine studied photography and Julien has been doing it for a few years. We love drawing, painting, writing, Julien writes a lot.
Marine has her driving license, and Julien is a smoker (electronic cigarette only)
We are interested and active regarding the ecology, we pay attention to our consumption, do some of our products ourselves, we have participated several times in walks for the climate, and in actions of cleaning beaches ect...

We had a wonderful time at Cathy's house ! We stayed in her place for 4 months. It breaked our hearts to leave this beautiful and peaceful place and these animals after so much time...
