Hello! My name is Alex, I'm a 20 year-old University student near Philadelphia studying finance and dance. You would be right to think this is an unusual combination of fields of study, I am the only student in both the school of dance and finance. For as long as I can remember I've wanted to work in finance, and truthfully, the dance study arose from my love for the art. I study dance, not because I plan on using the degree in my future career, but because I love to wake up everyday and have dance classes as part of my schedule. I'm a very active individual, commonly enjoying runs and bike rides. I also like to play sports with my friends like soccer, football, basketball, and volleyball. In March I sailed through Norway skiing the mountains. I also kayaked the Stockholm Archipelago in Sweden. When I am not in school, I like to try new things and visit new places, but more than that I love to meet new people and immerse myself into new cultures. Language barriers do not scare me, neither do differences in age or ethnicity. I embrace differences which allows me to get along with others very easily. I also volunteer as a Sunday School Teacher at my local church because I love working with children. I have taught gym and English classes in public schools and babysat. I have two little brothers who I've played with my whole life. I look forward to meeting people all over the world!

Yes English is my native language, and I've also studied it at University and have taught English. I'm also interested in learning basics of other languages so that I am more familiar with the cultures I visit.

I've studied English and math for many years including University. I'm very physically fit and am skilled at most sports. I work with and get along very well with children. I'm a skilled dancer and love all forms of art, including advanced knowledge of chess and piano. I'm also skilled with technology and a good driver.
