Description
Hi! We’re Abi (29) and Craig (32), a couple from Edinburgh, Scotland. We’ve taken a year out to travel the world, see new places, meet new people, and enjoy a different pace of life.
Abi’s a secondary school art and design teacher who also has experience teaching English abroad. She loves anything creative and enjoys getting involved in hands-on, people-focused work.
Craig works in building sustainability consultancy and has basic joinery skills. He’s great with practical tasks, problem-solving, and anything that involves tools or building. He’s also passionate about sustainable living and being outdoors.
We’re both easygoing, friendly, and up for helping out however we can — whether that’s in the garden, cooking, painting, building, or just lending a hand with whatever needs doing.
In our spare time, we love cooking, gardening, hiking, surfing, paddle boarding, cycling — basically anything outdoors and a bit adventurous.
We’re really looking forward to learning new skills, getting stuck in, and being part of different communities along the way!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?
Abi: I'm a qualified secondary school art and design teacher with experience teaching both in Scotland and abroad. I’m confident working with people of all ages and can help with creative projects, teaching, child care, or language support. I’m practical and hands-on — happy to help with gardening, cooking, cleaning, painting, or general maintenance. I’m reliable, adaptable, and enjoy working both independently and as part of a team. I'm always eager to learn and contribute wherever I can.
Craig: I work as a building sustainability consultant and have a real interest in eco-friendly living and practical problem-solving. I’ve got basic joinery and DIY skills, and I enjoy getting stuck into hands-on tasks. Before moving into sustainability, I worked in the finance sector, so I’m pretty organised and good with numbers and planning. A few years ago, I spent six months travelling through South America, which really opened my eyes to new ways of living and made me love meeting new people, embracing new cultures, and adapting to different environments.
