I'm a solo backpacker from Europe. I'm looking for a vegan community/permaculture farm and other workawayers to catch up with for hiking/camping/dancing/.

Hello beautiful souls 🌍
I'm Felicitas – born in Switzerland, raised in Germany, and on the road for the past 3 years. I'm a solo backpacker, hitchhiking through the world with an open heart and a deep wish to live more self-sustainably.

I’ve already done several Workaways and gathered lots of experience in gardening, seeding, transplanting, harvesting, animal care, and general farm life. I'm curious, hands-on, and always willing to learn.

Before traveling, I worked for many years with children – in a foster home, as a pediatric ICU nurse, and later as a forest kindergarten teacher. Through this, I’ve learned how to care deeply, stay grounded, and adapt to different needs and situations.

With over twelve years of experience in childcare and a second training as a pediatric nurse in 2016, I bring diverse skills to the table. In addition to my professional work, I volunteer my time engaging with older individuals, whether through walks, games, or conversations.

Cooking has brought me joy ever since I stopped strictly following recipes. I enjoy creating new dishes and have a keen interest in cultural exchange through culinary exploration.

Spending time in the garden is a form of meditation for me. I have experience in gardening (lawnmowing, edge cutting, weeding, planting, transplanting, wood chopping, fire protection, conservation work, plant-nursery etc.)
